1.5 parts Jim Beam® Orange
0.75 part ginger syrup
0.75 part lemon juice
Garnish with orange or lemon wedge and candied ginger
First, make your ginger syrup. Bring ginger, sugar and water to a simmer in a small saucepan. Stir until sugar has dissolved, then simmer for 30 minutes. Strain out the ginger and let the syrup come to room temperature.
For the cocktail, combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled and strain into a cocktail glass over ice.
