Leroy Powell - Live Music Series
California native Leroy Powell plays southern rock metal country with his power trio Leroy Powell & the Messengers. Formed in Nashville in 2009, the band features Dean Tomasek on bass and Christopher Williams on drums. Powell has five albums under his belt since leaving his guitar-playing post with Shooter Jennings, and the latest release is called Atlantis. The furious onslaught of dangerous rock songs has been met with critical acclaim, and the band's unique sound and style reeks of badassness which lends itself to a super incredible live show.
