I usually go 2 1/2 ozs of Bourbon, 1/2 oz of Sweet vermoth, couple dashes of bitters; shaken in a mixer, sifted into a Martini galss. The cherry of course is the tell that it really is a cocktail. When I drank Woodford's I added a splash of gernadine.

Best drink ever. Excellent with Rye, but equally nice with Regular Jim Beam. I like just a bit of the cherry juice in it also.

You'll make this 5 stars when you add a teaspoon of Cherry Juice with the Cherry. Dash of Bitters is a must!
