Homemade Ginger Ale


 

Ingredients
2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger root
1 1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tablespoon ale yeast
Juice of 1 fresh lemon
Water

Preparation
Combine ginger root, sugar, yeast and lemon juice and pour into 2-liter container, such as a soda bottle. Fill up remainder of bottle with water. Cover and shake well.

these directions are vauge are you suposed to strain it or heat water up or is it what it is?

This makes Canada Dry Ginger Ale seem like plain old seltzer water. The fresh ginger REALLY makes such a huge difference.
